I think I need a Lazy Day,
if not I might go insane
I got a thousand things to do,
But I tell you I am in a mood
So if you think you might stop over, Don't be scared
If you see me in my 'jamas with my stickin’ up hair
Today I have an attitude, I don’t care
I’m havin’ me a Lazy Day, oh yeah
A stickin’ up hair Lazy kinda Day
Instrumental
Chorus
If you got the personality of Type A
Please stay away
Cause your nervous energy might rub off on me
and ruin my Lazy Day
I got to have a Lazy Day,
Cause I don't want to go insane
I got a thousand things to do,
But I tell you I am in a mood
You see the nerves are kinda frazzled
The patience is gone
If you call me on the phone I might pretend I’m not home
I am a nice person Don't get me wrong
I just need a Lazy Day, oh yeah
A stickin’ up hair lazy kinda day
Chorus
Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today
if that’s the case
We’d better get started, don’t procrastinate
And have ourselves a Lazy Day
If we don t have a Lazy Day,
We all might go insane
We know that that’s not healthy,
so let’s not feel guilty
Put the briefcase in the closet if there’s laundry on the floor
Muster up your courage, go ahead, shut the door
To accomplish nothing is sometimes more
Let’s have ourselves a Lazy Day, oh yeah
Astickin’ up hair jama kinda Day
One more time
A stickin’ up hair, jama kinda, milk and Oreo cookie kinda
nothin’ is somethin’, Lazy Kinda Day
